The selection of the American Cancer Society was not by chance. I lost an older sister, Cindy M. Holman, to a long battle with lung cancer in 2011. Prior to that, David Dickert, a long time Jam by the Sea Referee was lost to a battle with esophageal cancer. Rather then allow these two tragedy to knock me down I decided to “join the fight” and help as many people as possible celebrate more Birthdays! We continue to honor each on the perpetual trophies for the men’s and women’s divisions of the Jam by the Sea Tournament. Each divisional champion has its team name placed on the memorial trophies. Thank you for your continued support of this little project, I look forward to continued expansion through my favorite game, LACROSSE!
